Has a whole week flown by already? hard to believe we are almost to Christmas! My goodness!
Today's Totally Talented Tutorial Thursday (say that 5x's fast) features ways to bring your garden indoors when you can't be outside pruning, planting, and weeding! brrrrr!
Gardening is a big part of who I am during the warm months. Where any day I can be found in the garden moving plants around, smelling flowers, and photographing my blooms. In the winter I yearn for my garden until the very first daffodil pokes it's wee head out of the ground. Waiting alllllllllllll winter is grueling for a gardener! We count down the days till March when we can start seeds inside!! My cat eats my seedlings, but that doesn't stop me from trying :)
I thought today I would feature some pretty cool terrariums... otherwise a garden that lives in it's own container. An ecosystem! most terrariums require minimal watering as they are contained and create their own habitat. They bring life to a room that seemed bleck and lifeless before. Lonely? plant something and nuture it! I have an avacodo pit growing in my kitchen underneath a glass dome. Every day I look at it and smile... my husband blows under the dome quickly trapping his hot air (hee hee). He claims the carbon dioxide makes it thrive... yeah... mmm hmmm... rrriiiiggghhht.
Anywho!! enough of my jabbering!
As always please click the photo to visit your tutorial :)
{{ Light bulb Terrarium }}
Soooooooo cool! what a great way to reuse and recycle! I actually saw in the craft store "Hobby Lobby" a week ago, light bulb jars with flat bottoms...
so either use a light bulb or purchase one online or in store.
{{ Found Terrariums }}
Another great way to reuse what you already have, and if you ask me these are truly charming.
{{ Air Plant Terrarium }}
For those of you who live local to me and my blog, our mall now has an air plant kiosk! They are sold individually or in their own pre-made set ups which are hideous!! SO... save yourself some cash and make your own. After all the air AIR plants! they don't need anything special!
You can purchase the hangable glass domes you see in the picture. Don't think you can't do it, cause you can't find the supplies! The world is at your fingertips thanks to Mr. Google!
{{ Tiny Terrarium Necklace }}
I want one! I need one! I have to have one, or two, or three!! This one is done with preserved moss, but there is no reason you can't put a tiny cactus inside with sand and dirt.
4 Tutorials for the 4th day of the week! enjoy this very green Tutorial day, may it brighten and cheer up your day... yes YOU!

These are sweet ideas! But the one I most want to do is the avocado! Btw my mum always says it's good to talk to plants because the carbon dioxide makes them thrive!
