In my house - and if your a crafter or yarn lover in your house too, your sure to have bits and pieces of thread/fabric and yarn all over the place. For me, I toss mine into a mason jar... all of those last strands of a skein needing a purpose but not really having one (yet). For the past few years I have been filling suet cages each spring with all my left overs so that the birds can pick out the fibers and use them for nesting. Now I know another way to use the many wonderful colors left behind just begging for a reason to survive!

{{Rainbow Yarn Bowl}}
This is just SO pretty! a delicious and vibrant bowl made with lots of left over yarn bits! Wouldn't this just be the best birthday gift?

{{White Yarn Bowl}}
This is like the one above, but more neatly laid into place and simplistic in it's lack of color. You can see how the very same project can become so diverse.

{{ Yarn Balls/Light Pendants }}
I bet these are a real conversation started in any home and especially used as light pendants hanging in any room. Wouldn't these be fab in an outside yard tent or hung across the garden?

Wonderful tutorials! When I start knitting I will make sure to keep every scrap. I love the idea about the nesting fibres too - lovely to think you are feathering so many local nests!!
